Cuffed A Gripping Psychological Crime Thriller eBook Marc Horn Sarah C Davies Lee
An absolute top quality read essentially from start to finish. The author, Marc Horn, has done a great job of capturing the suspense/thriller vibe and adding a unique twist to it that keeps it far from the mainstream and generic that so many other writers in this genre seem to abide by. The plot is unique and seems very well-thought-out, everything from the environment, the characters and the dialogue between them are all expressed through a visually rich writing style that keeps the book vivid, detailed and engaging without overloading the reader with unnecessary filler. In summary, I am more than impressed with "Cuffed" because it left me thinking about the story long after I finished, this is something that I can't say about most of the books I come across these days (namely from independent and/or self published authors) which ultimately brings me to rate this book at about a 9 out of 10. I will definitely be keeping an eye out for more.

Cuffed A Gripping Psychological Crime Thriller eBook Marc Horn Sarah C Davies Lee Reviews
Good reading
great
Love this writer. We are talking a Brett Easton Ellis here.
Almost put this down several times but had gone so far into it, just went shead and finished it. Really outlandish and rather stupid. Didn't care for it at all.

A review by Anthony Riggio of the novel "Cuffed" by Marc Horn
I purchased this book in the format from . It was described as a "Crime Thriller". Consequently I expected a typical "who done it" work and was surprised by a couple of things the story takes place in the UK; the jargon was British in the extreme with all the colloquialisms Americans have a difficult time understanding as well as the strange geography references. Once I overcame the differences in language (thank God for the s dictionary and link to Wikipedia) I was able to understand that this was about a "super cop" who depended on instinct and feelings about events and people. This is something we see in many detective novels but once I was able to handle following the story line, I began to enjoy it. As a result of the main characters unique abilities (which initially seem supernatural) his ability to catch crooks and sex offenders seem remarkable especially to his peers and some supervisors.
I say some supervisors because the novel quickly takes on the characteristics of science fiction or rather pseudo science. At this point I was ready to delete the book from my inventory on the . As I began to wrestle through the confusing cerebral concepts, I began to understand and the story took on a compelling force to read on.
This was part of a very complex interaction of characters that lead you to wonder about reality and conspiracies that seem impossible to, arrange let alone conceptualize. The uninitiated reader may take longer than those familiar with the authors work.
The characters are well developed and once the reader gets the gist of Razors strange abilities, it becomes an enjoyable read but the author, Marc Horn did a great job of weaving the story to keep the reader guessing right to the end. As you read you begin to wonder about the reality of characters and the workings of Razors mind. Towards the end the results are almost predictable but the consequences are...well the reader will just have to find out.
I gave this book four out of five stars and the determination was purely subjective on the reviewers thinking and the difficulties of language differences. I was never able to figure out one of the main characters terms to wit, Piss Flapper
I no longer bother to finish books that aren't grabbing me, and I'd stopped reading three books just before starting this one. Same old plotlines. Boring. Yawn.
This book is a breath of fresh air. Razors is a brilliant character, truly larger than life . He takes the reader on an exciting adventure into the dark underworld of the mind. This book is part gritty police mystery, part psychological thriller, and mainly just plain fun.
Have you ever noticed strange events in the middle of every day reality? Have you ever thought that something odd is going on behind the scenes? You may find the answers here, and you'll certainly enjoy the read.
This book was insane. Especially because the main character is insane, or maybe he is not, who knows at this point, even after finishing the book, you can't really be sure.
Let's take the case when he actually is insane, by that I mean psychopathic, sociopathic with delusion of grandeur. And yes, he is so stubborn as well taking every evidence against him as an evidence that confirms his theory.
First, there was a potential thriller going on but it was solved very quickly and easily and that seemed very unrealistic to me, especially when the case had been open for so many years prior. But hey, the narrator is insane, so he could have made that up too, why not.
Secondly, it unfolds into a conspiracy and I have no clue if that's part of the delusion or not.
Should they keep the main character alive, or not? And why?
In the case he is insane, I don't see why not kill him, really. But if they try to keep him alive, does that mean he is actually not insane and that the all worlds is actually insane and everyone around oblivious to reality... No idea.
The beginning was extremely promising, I liked the creepy main character who seemed to be based on efficiency only, but then every little bit of things he explains makes him be a very bad cop, one of the worst kind.
My main problem is that insane or not there was no real closure.
This book was not a bad read.
If you want to test you sanity read it but it might make you insane, just saying.
Also if you don't like swearing, keep out, this book is full of it, not a page without.
